Watch an agent work, and ask about it
Follow each coding agent in its worktree as it codes, see what its changes touch as the graph grows, and ask about it by voice.
When you run coding agents, each one usually works in its own git worktree. The Worktrees page shows you what each one is changing while it works, so you can ask about it and see what it touches before there is a pull request.
#Open it
Open a project and choose Worktrees in the top tabs. Every worktree of the project that has commits ahead of its base, or uncommitted changes, appears as a row. A worktree with nothing in progress isn't listed. The page updates every few seconds while it is open.
#See what the agent changed
Open a worktree. You get the same view a pull request gets: the Diff, split into the features the agent is shipping, with a short summary of each. It refreshes as the agent edits, so you don't have to reopen it.
#See what it touches
Switch to Dependencies to see the files the agent changed, the callers and tests around them and the code they rely on, grouped by folder. The graph is drawn from the worktree's diff, so it grows as the agent writes more. See Understand a pull request quickly for how to read it.
#Ask what it is doing
Type a question in Ask, for example "what is the agent doing to billing?" or "could this break the webhook?". The answer is grounded in your repository, so it names the real files.
On Pro, hold the key shown in the voice dock and ask out loud. You hear the answer while you keep looking at the graph. Set up voice in Voice.
#Before and after
- Before the agent starts, read its plan: Understand an agent's plan quickly.
- When it opens a pull request, read that too: Understand a pull request quickly.
- For anything else in the repository, ask: Understand your codebase quickly.
