How do I keep up with ten coding agents working at once?

Last updated October 5, 2026

When several coding agents work in parallel, pull requests arrive faster than you can read them. The fix is not to read faster. It is to pick the quickest way into each pull request. DiffGuardian gives you three, so a queue of PRs becomes a series of short, deliberate looks instead of a pile.

#A method for a queue, without any tool

  1. Look at the whole queue before opening one PR. Reading in arrival order means the one that matters most may come last.
  2. Sort by what a change can break, not by size. A one-line change to an auth check matters more than three hundred lines of test fixtures.
  3. Group near-duplicates. Agents often open several PRs that make the same mechanical change. Understand the pattern once.
  4. Check the description against the diff. Make sure the change does what it says and nothing else.
  5. Go deep only where it counts, and skim the rest. Decide that up front.

#How DiffGuardian speeds each step

  • Skim fast: see it. The blast radius graph shows what a change touches before you read any code, so you can tell a small change from a risky one at a glance.
  • Go deep: read it. Trace It (Pro) follows one feature across every file it touches, in the order the code runs, at your own pace.
  • Stay hands-free: hear it. Talk to your pull request (Pro) tells you the walkthrough out loud while the code it explains is highlighted. Ask a follow-up, or skip to the file you care about.

You approve when you are ready. DiffGuardian never merges anything. The short version is in the docs: Understand a pull request quickly.

DiffGuardian is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, and works with pull requests on GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket.

#Limits

  • DiffGuardian speeds up understanding. It does not decide for you, and it does not approve or merge a pull request on its own.
  • Trace It and voice are Pro features. The blast radius graph needs no AI and works on every plan.
  • No speed is promised. How long a pull request takes depends on its size and on how well you already know the code.

FAQ

Does DiffGuardian handle many pull requests at once?

It is built for that situation. Each pull request gets its own way in, so you can skim some, go deep on others and talk through the rest.

Do I have to read every pull request?

No, but you do have to understand the ones you approve. DiffGuardian shortens the path to that understanding rather than skipping it.
